Hello World!!!

In 2012, life stripped me of everything.

I wasn’t sleeping under a bridge, but I was homeless — living in a friend’s office with another friend in the exact same situation. Every day felt like survival. Every night was a reminder of what it meant to have dreams yet no roof over your head.

We stayed on borrowed time until even that ran out. The landlord refused to renew rent. The caretaker grew hostile. Suddenly, we had to leave — no money, no backup plan, no place to go.

That night, after narrowly avoiding a confrontation, my friend and I sat in the dark, frustrated. Like millions of Nigerians do when life presses hard enough, we ranted.

We ranted about rent.
We ranted about food prices.
We ranted about how unfair life felt.

But ranting doesn’t change reality. What does? Ideas.

That was when the seed of Qliix was planted.

From Pain to Purpose

Nigeria’s economy has always been tough on ordinary people. Every year, the cost of living rises while incomes stay flat. Families are forced to choose between paying school fees and feeding their children. Young people are stuck in cycles of hustle without reward.

I wanted to change that.

Qliix was born not just as a marketplace, but as a social market — a place where shopping becomes an equalizer, not a burden. Where opportunity is shared. Where dignity is restored. Where everyone has a chance.

What Qliix Offers

At Qliix, we built a system unlike anything the world has seen:

The 5 Minutes Shopping Experience → For just ₦1,000, you get 5 minutes to shop absolutely free. From groceries to cars, whatever you grab is yours.

Crash Auction → A reverse auction where prices fall until you win. Imagine a ₦200,000 phone for ₦3,000.

The Subsidy Market → 70% of Qliix’s revenue is recycled to slash product prices so members can buy at factory cost.

The Barter Market → Trade your old items for new ones within the community. No cash needed.

Each feature is designed to create fairness in an unfair world.

More Than Shopping – A Movement

Qliix is not just about products. It’s about people. It’s about mothers who need to put food on the table. Fathers who dream of buying their children laptops for school. Young people who crave a shot at vacations, gadgets, and even homes.

Qliix is about giving people the power to say: “I can.”
